What consists of body art? Body art take several forms. Body art can be body painting, tattooing, and scarification and piercing. Body piercing can be done in the face, most often in the ears, nose and lips or wherever it is you find art in piercing it on. Tattoos can be done almost anywhere within the body as well though tattoos once done tends to be permanent. Scarification though considered to be more like a tattoo is rather place into the wound and cut and once healed a permanent mark will remain on the skin appearing more like a tattoo.
