Politics consists of social relations involving authority of power and regulation of the political unit. Political science is study of political behavior, which makes people powerful, and they utilize this power to achieve certain goals. Public administration is the practice of governance.

Politics is one of the major pillars that provide support to a nation. The growth of a nation is completely governed by the political leaders and the public opinion. The political leaders are chosen by the public and are nothing but the representatives of the public. Although there are some issues related to politics that need to be rectified in some of the developing countries, however it must be noticed that politics alone can keep a nation progressing.

In a democratic country the government chosen by the people residing in that country and hence the government is formed considering the majority support. The different types of democracy lay stress and importance on different concepts as already explained above. The political leaders who are into politics and take the important decisions related to the important issues concerned to the development of a nation are also chosen by the general public in a democratic nation.

Globalization also has its impact on politics and government. The media in particular is mainly responsible for providing news globally which has helped in people inhibiting the goodness of the other countries. It has created inter dependence between the different countries in terms of the culture, economics, finances, and politics. Globalization has allowed people to monitor and inculcate the social and political strategies followed in other countries.

Politics is very important component and it is very important to know whom we are selecting to represent us. The right choice of the leaders is very important when it comes to politics and the nation’s growth. Political parties contest for the elections and there are a number of campaigns that are set up just to make the common masses aware of the different leaders who are contesting for the elections. Thus the common masses should be aware of the political developments and should elect the candidates whom they feel can improvise the present condition of a nation.
