童明,同济大学建筑与城市规划学院教授、博士生导师。1990年获东南大学建筑系建筑学本科学位,1993年获东南大学建筑所建筑学硕士学位,1999年获同济大学建筑与城市规划学院城市规划理论与设计博士学位。主要从事城市规划理论、城市设计、建筑设计以及现代建筑理论等方向的研究工作。

曾出版专著《政府视角的城市规划》《从神话到童话》,译著《拼贴城市》《明日之城》等。1998年起开始独立的建筑实践,已完成多项建筑作品,是中国较有影响力的青年建筑师。
