作者简介 · · · · · ·

李济（1896—1979）,考古学家,人类学家。字济之,湖北钟祥人。

1923年获美国哈佛大学哲学博士学位。1926年主持山西夏县西阴村考古发掘,成为第一个发掘考古遗址的中国学者。1929年中央研究院历史语言研究所考古组成立后,长期任该组主任,并曾主持安阳殷墟的发掘,对中国考古学的发展卓有贡献。历史语言研究所迁往台湾后,曾任该所所长。

著作有《西阴村史前遗存》、《中国文明的开始》、《安阳》等。
