This is the first comprehensive introduction to Deleuze's work on literature. It provides thorough treatments of Deleuze's early book on Proust and his seminal volume on Kafka and minor literature. Deleuze on Literature situates those studies and many other scattered writings within a general project that extends throughout Deleuze's career-that of conceiving of literature as a form of health and the writer as a cultural physician.

雷諾‧博格(Ronald Bogue)目前為美國喬治亞大學比較文學系教授,為著名德勒茲專家。首部關於德勒茲與瓜達希的英文專書《德勒茲與瓜達希》(Deleuze and Guattari, 1989)已被翻譯成多種語言。其他著作包括《德勒茲論文學》(Deleuze on Literature, 2003),《德勒茲論電影》Deleuze on Cinema, 2003),《德勒茲論音樂、繪畫與藝術》(Deleuze on Music, Painting, and the Arts, 2003),及《德勒茲餘波》(Deleuze’s Wake, 2004)。作者另編有《當代理論中的摹擬》(Mimesis in Contemporary Theory, 1991),《自我的戲耍》(The Play of the Self, 1994),及《當代文化中的暴力與仲裁》(Violence and Mediation in Cotemporary Culture)等書。

李育霖（Yu-lin Lee）,美國喬治亞大學比較文學博士,曾任教於淡江大學英文系、國立成功大學台灣文學系。美國哈佛大學訪問學人,現任國立中興大學臺灣文學與跨國文化研究所副教授兼所長。主要研究領域為臺灣文學、比較文學、東亞電影、翻譯研究與德勒茲研究等,著有Writing Taiwan: A Study of Taiwan’s Nativist Literature（2008）、《翻譯閾境──主體、倫理、美學》（2009）,譯有《德勒茲論文學》（Deleuze on Literature）（2006）,編有《賽伯格與後人類主義》（合編,2013）、Deleuze and Asia（合編,2014）等書,亦於國內外期刊發表多篇中、英文論文。目前專注於臺灣自然書寫與後殖民等相關議題研究,並從事德勒茲相關著作翻譯等。
